Songs (elementary school)

The wonderful energy, voice, enthusaism and high expectations of Christiana Quick-Cleveland have gotten many of our Waldorf in the Home conferences in Fair Oaks off to a great start! Now you can bring her enthusiasm and expertise into your own home through her songbook and quality CD "Songs for the Elementary Classroom."

The CD is joyous simply to listen to, and if you are home schooling your children (or want to join them with songs they are probably learning in Waldorf classrooms), the songbook contains not only the words and music to nearly 30 songs, but also notes on the grade levels for which they are particulary appropriate. There is even an index by grade level (grades 2-8), as well as an index by first lines.

Christiana is the Music Coordinator at Rudolf Steiner College in Fair Oaks, California. She has taught students and teachers how to sing and bring muisc into the classroom for over 15 years. She has a Bachelor of Muisc dgree in vocal performance and works out of the Werbeck-Svaardstrom "School for Uncovering the Voice." Christiana has been a music specialty teacher at the Monterey Waldorf School and the Sacramento Waldorf School and has directed many different choirs. We are always delighted when she can get everyone singing as a way to begin our conferences each morning, and I am glad to be able to recommend her CD and songbook to you!

The CD or booklet are $15 each or $25 for both, plus $3 shipping within the continental US (Calfornia residents need to add 7.75% sales tax). Make checks payable to Christiana Quick-Cleveland and send to Tiana Music Enterprises, P.O. Box 2158, Carmichael, CA 95609 (www.tianame.home.comcast.net or contact tianame@comcast.net).
